IV Nutrient Therapy

IV nutrient therapy involves the administration of selected fluids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the bloodstream under medical supervision. It is most often considered by people who feel their nutritional needs are not being met through diet alone, who have increased demands, or who have difficulty tolerating or absorbing oral supplements.

Because IV nutrients bypass the digestive tract, they are immediately available in the circulation. This can be useful for people with gut absorption issues, those who experience gastrointestinal side effects from higher‑dose oral supplements, or individuals looking for a more direct way to support their overall wellbeing as part of a broader health plan.

VITAMIN INFUSIONS

Vitamin infusions typically include combinations of water‑soluble vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and sometimes amino acids. They may be considered for people who:

  • have increased demands and feel depleted or run down
  • experience difficulty tolerating higher‑dose oral supplements
  • have digestive issues that may affect nutrient absorption
  • are seeking individualised nutrient support under medical supervision

Because the nutrients are delivered intravenously, they do not rely on gut absorption in the same way as oral supplements. People’s experiences vary, and responses are monitored over time as part of an ongoing treatment plan.

NAD INFUSIONS

NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme present in all living cells and is involved in energy production and many cellular processes. NAD⁺ levels can be influenced by factors such as age, metabolic stress and illness.

NAD⁺ infusions are used selectively in clinical practice and are always administered under close medical supervision. They may be considered for individuals looking to support cellular energy pathways as part of a broader, integrative approach to wellbeing.

IRON INFUSIONS

Iron infusions are reserved for patients with documented iron deficiency or iron deficiency anaemia where oral iron has been ineffective, not tolerated, or is clinically unsuitable. Before an iron infusion, appropriate blood tests are required to confirm deficiency and determine the most appropriate form and dose of iron.

Common reasons an iron infusion may be considered include:

  • difficulty tolerating oral iron due to side effects such as nausea or constipation
  • inadequate response to dietary changes and oral supplements
  • the need to restore iron stores more efficiently under medical supervision

All iron infusions at Vitality Solutions™ are prescribed and administered by a medical practitioner in a controlled setting.

HEAVY METAL CHELATION

Chelation therapy involves the use of specific agents (chelators) that bind to certain heavy metals so they can be eliminated from the body. This therapy is only considered after appropriate testing and clinical assessment have identified a potential heavy metal burden.

At Vitality Solutions™, chelation is used in carefully selected cases and delivered under established medical protocols, with monitoring of kidney function and other safety parameters. It is not used as a general “detox” treatment and is not a substitute for standard medical care.

INFUSIONS TO SUPPORT PATIENTS LIVING WITH CANCER

Some patients living with cancer seek additional supportive options alongside their conventional oncology care. At Vitality Solutions™, we offer IV vitamin C and selected nutrient infusions as adjunctive therapies aimed at supporting comfort and general wellbeing.

These treatments do not replace chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery or other standard cancer treatments, and we do not claim that they treat or cure cancer. Where possible, we encourage open communication with your oncology team to ensure that all aspects of your care are coordinated.

Supportive infusions may include:

  • intravenous vitamin C
  • selected plant‑derived compounds such as curcumin, boswellia, mistletoe or quercetin (where clinically appropriate)

Protocols are individualised, and treatment decisions are guided by your clinical picture, blood tests and, in some cases, additional investigations such as circulating tumour cell (CTC) testing. The focus remains on improving comfort, supporting resilience and helping you feel more supported during a challenging time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

IV therapies are not a substitute for a balanced diet, adequate hydration, sleep, movement or appropriate medical and specialist care. All infusions are prescribed and provided under medical supervision, and not everyone will be a suitable candidate. Eligibility, benefits and risks are discussed during your consultation.
